Vacuum Destoner Forsberg Agritech Destoners are designed for high capacity, high accuracy, 2 way separations of lighter product from heavier impurity such as stones, glass, metals, etc. Available as Pressure types: Open deck type, suitable for any dry granular material dust free, or as Vacuum types which are fully sealed systems suitable for high capacity pollution free operation. Successfully operating on the Soyabean, Senna leaves, Isabgol, whole dried chilli and many more materials P Series Destoners : Faster Finer Separation, The basic principle of the destoner-or stoner-involves flowing dry granular material over an inclined, vibrating, screen covered deck. Vacuum air is pulled through the deck, and through the bed of material. The steady air flow holds the product in stratified flotation – lighter material in the upper strata-as it flows down the inclined vibrating deck. “Heavier-than-product” material such as stones, glass, metal etc., travel uphill and out. The product itself flows downhill, and at the discharge end of the deck, we can ‘skim off’ and divert the top part of the bed which contains all the lighter impurities for further purification, as on a gravity table. The bottom portion of the bed consists of gravity pure, finished product that often needs no further refinement. Spices – Coffee – Peanuts – Plastics – Cereals – Beans – Wheat – Minerals – Chemicals, etc. Distinguishing Features – Total Control of air, pitch, elevation, r.p.m. to give the best separations. – Rubber bushing suspension for fine sensitive machine adjustment and controls. – Superior enclosed counter-balanced drive system for vibrationless opeations.
